We're back to Sun/Thurs updates for TFA for the time being. Trust you DO NOT want to miss tomorrow's update. We bouts to get into some shit 👀🍷
Aside from that, the plan *MIGHT* be to go on ahead and back up yet again, update the game, MAYBE get a pack or two because ya girl can't resist a new world.
I hope y'all are well moisturized, hydrated and stretching every morning so you don't get older and your ligaments and connective tissues harden.
guys it’s just a joke, aurelien liking drake is not that deep, and people making jokes about it isn’t that deep either. attacking @hopefulromantic1 because you want to “defend aurelien” is strange behavior, i’ll bet you that he would even take it as a joke. he won’t crown you fan of the year for defending him, you just look stupid.
please don’t push another talented writer away because you can’t take a silly joke; we already lost emjaye due to y’all’s toxicity and we just got @iamquiantrelle back, mind you she JUST got here, leave black writers alone they deserve to have boundaries and respect.

So last weekend I watched Don't Be a Menace to South Central while Drinking your Juice in the Hood, a gross-out gag based parody of 90s Hood Movies by the Wayans Brothers (famous for the first two Scary Movie films), and there is a character of a mailman played by Keenen Ivory Wayans who yells "MESSAGE!" whenever a character makes a profound statement to point this is a meaningful movie.
And I watched this character, I thought "this character is who I am in our group of cinephile friends".
britney let’s go!
All of the performative moral outrage that we see is self-righteousness. When you think about the difference between righteousness and self-righteousness; righteousness is a real response to injustice, and self-righteousness is proving to others that you care about an issue. I saw someone put up something on twitter, it was a response to someone showing the receipts of the money they gave to different causes. When we get to a place where we have to broadcast what we’re doing to fight for causes that we believe in, we’re lost. It’s so performative at that point.
